“We have name-brand vendors who send us their overstock, and we sell it at about 50 percent off list,” manager Dan Williams said. “For instance, I have $3,500 spa tubs here selling for $900. But we can still do special-order items as well, especially of the high-end plumbing and decorative fixtures.”
Other bargains can be found in the store’s stainless steel sink collection. “We buy scratch and dents from Franke and Blanco,” Williams said. “They might have a slight imperfection, but we can sell some of those for about 70 percent off.”
What you’ll find
This uncluttered warehouse has three showrooms. The main area displays sinks with wood cabinetry, a variety of painted bowls ($599) and a small selection of colorful glass bowls that can be mounted atop a counter. There’s also a modest collection of bidets and toilets in black, white and cream colors.
Across the room, an entire wall is lined with double and single stainless steel kitchen sinks, some as low as $100. The floor space is taken up with soaking and spa tubs, with a few refinished claw-foot styles mixed in. A recent visit uncovered one free-standing, hammered copper soaking tub for $5,850. All the items are ready to be taken out the door.
A second room showcases a good selection of faucets and showerheads, including the popular rain-shower styles. Mirrors, towel racks and toilet paper holders are among the smaller items in stock. A third display area holds high-end sinks and fancy faucets from brand names such as Danze, Franke, Hansgrohe and Kindred.
Trends
“We’re selling a lot of decorative vanities as people are changing out those builder-grade vanities and putting in their own,” Williams said. “They’re replacing those pedestal sinks with nice cabinetry.”
When it comes to color, the bright gold or brass fixtures are passe. “The oil-rubbed bronze finishes are coming on strong, followed by satin and nickel,” Williams said. “Again, we see a lot of people replacing brass fixtures that builders put in.”
Best-sellers
Tubs are tops, due largely to their low price points. Wood vanities with decorative sinks are also popular. Buyers are also big on the various shower systems.
